Tito Chandy

Tito Chandy brings nearly 30 years of experience in grappling with issues faced by Civil Society organisations beginning with the founding of a student organisation in 1988, the SSTCN, which continues even today working on Sea Turtle Conservation issues. Tito worked with Greenpeace in its early years in India as Director, Supporter Campaigns & Fundraising and more recently grapples with online campaigning while serving as Trustee of the Samarthan Trust on its online community fundraising project - NotforProfit India. In addition, Tito brings more than two decades of experience facilitating "People & Team Development" workshops believing that great teamwork is even more critical in the non-profit sector.

John’s career as a fundraiser began raising sponsorship for arts festivals in Sydney, Australia then Edinburghin Scotland. He later directed capital fundraising programmes for Edinburgh University’s Medical Research Institute and the Edinburgh Napier Business School and has since consulted for many other major gift campaigns in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and India.

John is a PhD research candidate at Swinburne University, Melbourne. His research field is philanthropy in India. He blogs and writes articles for fundraising publications including NPQuarterly Newswires. He is the author of Artful Major Gift Fundraising.
